Great acting, Absorbing

See it if into a modern-day one-person adaptation of Chekov; with superb acting and inventive direction. Available on @NTLive.

Don’t see it if well... at first, despite voice changes and props, it is a game of "Who is he now?". As the scenes get longer, it becomes a true play.

Slow, Absorbing, Intense, Great acting, Ambitious

See it if you are an Andrew Scott fan. He is remarkable as an entire cast of characters.

Don’t see it if You want a faithful Vanya. This is not. Lots of the f-word and some sex scenes (!). Requires concentration and might be dull to some.

Masterful, Great acting, Ambitious, Clever, Absorbing

See it if You love Andrew Scott, are thoroughly familiar with Chekhov’s play Uncle Vanya and its characters.

Don’t see it if You’ve never seen Uncle Vanya before. With all the characters being played by one actor, familiarity with the plot is essential.
